continued this summer at zucco del angelone in barzio
near lecco. the limestone was not like any limestone I
ever encountered in yorkshire at malham or gordale
scar. this limestone has similar friction to granite.
the climbing was fun but i got a little bit over enthusiastic during the first 250 meters and really screwed the
last pitch when my arms gave out. i just could not manage to hold myself on one hand and reach up with the other. well what do you expect if you don’t climb for years and years.
